bridal preview
A bridal preview is the perfect opportunity to meet with your makeup artist and discuss your vision for your special day.
A bridal preview will typically take place 3 months before the wedding day and will either be at my home address in Horley, Surrey or at your address. We will have a chat about your wedding dress or outfit, colour themes and venue and then discuss the style of makeup you envision for your day. If you are usually someone who wears very little to no makeup and you are unsure about the look you want to achieve, then I will guide you and help you in creating something beautiful that you feel completely comfortable wearing. We will also discuss your skin type and needs and then have a play around with the makeup to create your perfect bridal look. The bridal preview will take approximately 2-3 hours and this gives adequate time to make any changes to the look if needs be. It’s also a great chance for you to wear the makeup and see how it holds up!
Bridal makeup
I truly believe that having a makeup artist for your special day is one of the best decisions you will make! It is something I regret, to some extent, that I didn’t do for my own wedding day! From the moment you sit in my chair on your wedding day, my aim is to help you feel calm and relaxed for the next 90 minutes or so! Not only is it my job to make you feel beautiful but I also play a big part in making sure that the bridal preparations are running on a schedule to make the morning go as smoothly it can. I will arrive nice and early to set up. You and your bridal party will know the order of makeup and when they need to be ready for their makeup application. Skin prep will be done to suit your skin needs and your makeup will be applied with care and precision based on the makeup look you decided on during your bridal preview with me. Any changes or adjustments can be made if you fancy something different to what was decided during your preview. I use only the best products from brands such as; Charlotte Tilbury, Nars, Laura Mercier, Hourglass, Rodial, MAC, Makeup By Mario and more. Your makeup will last you well into the evening and beyond!
